Return to Campus: What to Expect June 1
Chancellor Elliman announced last week that important changes are coming to campus, starting June 1. This new guidance was developed to help our community navigate continued slow and steady return to campus, and is not intended to suggest a full return to on-campus operations.
Here are some highlights of what to expect starting June 1:
- No more daily health questionnaire/attestation required for those fully vaccinated. Unvaccinated individuals will continue to complete the questionnaire to be on campus.
- Masks will be recommended but optional, both indoors and outside, for those fully vaccinated. Masks will continue to be mandatory for unvaccinated individuals at all times except when outdoors and 6 feet or more from others.
- Physical distancing requirements will be eliminated, indoors and outdoors, for those fully vaccinated. Unvaccinated individuals must maintain 6 feet or more of distance between themselves and others at all times, inside and out.
- Self-reporting will continue to be required, regardless of vaccination status, and contact tracing will continue.
- University-sponsored travel, both domestic and international, will be allowed for those fully vaccinated, with appropriate approvals.

Vaccination Required by September 1
The University of Colorado will require that all students and employees on all four campuses be fully vaccinated ahead of fall semester.
At CU Anschutz, we ask that you be fully vaccinated no later than September 1, 2021. The total timeframe for becoming fully vaccinated may be as long as 6 weeks or more, so please plan accordingly.
Medical or religious exemptions will be allowed, and guidance will follow in the coming weeks on how to obtain exemption. Those who qualify for exemptions must continue to complete the daily health questionnaire, wear a mask and maintain physical distancing, and may be subject to regular COVID-19 testing.

Remember to continue following safety protocols, even once vaccinated. Wear a mask, keep your distance, and stay home and self-report when sick.
Gratitude for Campus POD Team
Our on-campus vaccine point of distribution (POD) has now completed its operations after vaccinating thousands. Anyone still in need of the vaccine may schedule at a hospital partner or community site.
We are grateful for the campus planning team, and volunteer students and staff, who contributed to the POD’s success in vaccinating more than 4,100 people with the Pfizer vaccine over the course of a very busy month.

- No-cost COVID-19 testing is available to CU Anschutz employees and students, and household members including minors age 2+.
- The Mindful Moment meditation series continues with guided sessions on Mondays at noon, and Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:50 a.m.
