Additional Holiday Leave, 12-18-20

Dear colleagues,

Last week, we shared that CU Anschutz has granted our employees an additional day of paid administrative leave in gratitude for your hard work and dedication.

Today, I am pleased to share that Governor Polis has authorized 8 hours of extra holiday administrative leave for state employees, which we are granting to our employees as well.

CU Anschutz faculty and staff, and those from consolidated units who follow the CU Anschutz holiday schedule, may now take 16 hours of additional paid holiday administrative leave, between December 21, 2020, and January 1, 2021, in alignment with your unit’s operational needs as directed by its leadership. 

This additional leave is beyond the scheduled CU Anschutz holidays of Dec. 24, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. 

Please follow the process outlined in the holiday leave message we shared last week. Those faculty and staff required to work during this time period may take their additional administrative leave at another point during the fiscal year.
