Additional Holiday Leave | January 2, 10-6-22

Dear colleagues,

Late last month, we announced that university operations at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus will be officially closed from the end of business on Friday, December 23, through Friday, December 30, giving our faculty and staff a full week off this holiday season. 

Today, I am pleased to share that we are also granting our employees an additional 8 hours of holiday administrative leave on Monday, January 2, in gratitude for your hard work and dedication. We will resume normal university operations on Tuesday, January 3. We made the decision to grant this additional day of leave after Governor Polis authorized an extra 8 hours of holiday leave for state employees.

Those with clinical responsibilities and other critical functions requiring them to work on Monday, January 2, will receive equivalent holiday administrative leave to take at another point during the fiscal year.
