An Update to Our Campus Community, 3-14-20

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:

We have been notified that a CU Anschutz student has tested positive for coronavirus. That individual, however, was NOT on our campus while infectious.

In an abundance of caution, we are nevertheless taking additional steps to disinfect any areas where it is confirmed this student or those in close contact were present.

The safety of our community remains our highest priority. We continue to follow public health guidance regarding additional cleaning and sanitation steps to prevent the further spread of the virus. We recently began to transition to remote learning and working, and suspended travel and campus sponsored events.

We are closely following the trajectory of the virus and will adhere to public health agency recommendations and the guidance from our experts. We are committed to sharing as much information as possible with you as it becomes available.

This is a challenging moment for all of us. But we are resilient. This will be no different thanks to your continued cooperation and dedication to this campus and to each other.
