Leadership Statement

Campus & Workplace Survey Findings Now Available, 4-8-22

Dear students, faculty and staff,

As we shared with you late last year, we received a strong response to our Campus & Workplace Culture Survey, with nearly 4,500 people providing thoughtful responses to this important effort.

Our goal is to use the results of the survey to help us further enrich our campus community, and to foster an equitable environment where everyone feels welcomed, supported and respected.

Today, we would like to share a new survey dashboard with you. This innovative tool allows you to explore survey data related to areas including: belonging, wellness, harassment, workplace incivilities, discrimination, and survey response rates.

You can drill down to learn more about the survey questions we asked and the responses received.

We encourage you to click on the dashboard link below and take a look around. It is important to note that participant privacy has been of utmost importance throughout this effort, and strict internal safeguards will continue to protect that privacy in all of our survey reporting. Should you have questions, visit the CWC Survey website or contact cwcsurvey@cuanschutz.edu.

This dashboard for exploring campus-level findings is our first step in sharing our survey results with you. Analysis continues, and we will be adding detail to the tool over the coming weeks. Individual unit-level data will soon be available, with details coming in the April 13 CU Anschutz Today e-newsletter.

We will also be building action plans over the next several months to align our next steps with our strategic initiatives and goals for the future. Analysis of the CWC Survey findings is an ongoing conversation with our campus community – we will remain responsive throughout this process, and incorporate your feedback and questions into further analysis of this data.

We know that our people are our greatest strength, and we appreciate all those who have provided insights to help us ensure the CU Anschutz Medical Campus is the best place it can be to work, learn and serve.

Sincerely,

Don Elliman
Chancellor
