Grieving with the Colorado Springs Community, 11-20-22

Dear students, faculty and staff,

As we mourn the victims of the horrific shooting carried out in Colorado Springs late last night, our hearts are with the Colorado Springs community, our UCCS family and all those impacted by this abhorrent act.

Today, I joined with University of Colorado President Todd Saliman and my fellow chancellors in denouncing hatred and violence, and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community as so many are left reeling in the aftermath of this attack.

At CU Anschutz, we stand with the LGBTQ+ community as we grieve with those who lost loved ones, those who were injured and all those who now carry the trauma of this senseless act of violence.
