Dear students, faculty and staff,
The 10th annual CU Anschutz Block Party takes place tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and we hope to see you there. This signature event is one way that we say thank you for all you make possible every day ‒ and it’s an opportunity to join with peers and colleagues for fun, food and connection.
We know that it’s our exceptional people who make the CU Anschutz Medical Campus more than a place to learn, work and serve. You make our campus a community. That’s something worth celebrating, and we want to do more of just that.
As we kick off a busy fall, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our campuswide connection initiative. The initiative focuses on building a strong sense of community through new and expanded events, traditions and engagement opportunities. Throughout the year, you can look forward to a campus history showcase, a First Snow gathering, a service month, a spring festival and more. Our gratitude goes to the CU Anschutz executive leadership team for bringing this initiative to life over the past year.
Starting at tomorrow’s Block Party, you will begin to see special A Place To messaging on campus and online as part of the connection initiative. It’s a way for all of us to come together, learn more about our campus and one another, and share a sense of pride and belonging.
Stop by the A Place To Connect tent at Bonfils Circle tomorrow for giveaways, a photo booth and more.
Thank you for all you do as a member of our campus community. We look forward to creating new opportunities to enrich our dynamic campus and elevate the CU Anschutz experience for all.
Sincerely,
Don Elliman
Chancellor
