Ongoing Events in Afghanistan and Haiti - 8-18-21
Dear students, faculty and staff,
As chaos in Afghanistan unfolds and devastation in Haiti continues in the aftermath of Saturday’s massive earthquake, we want you to know that the CU Anschutz Medical Campus has resources in place for those who may need them.
We stand with members of our campus community with ties to these areas and with those who have served in Afghanistan and surrounding countries. Our hearts are with all of those affected – near and far.
During times of turbulence, each of us feels the impacts differently. What we know for certain is that we can get through tough times better together than alone. Take care of yourselves and one another.
Should you wish to contribute to Haiti earthquake relief efforts, one option is Hope for Haiti – an internationally recognized nonprofit organization of Haitian doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers working to provide emergency kits to people and families in the area.Sincerely,
