Spring 2022 Commencement Plans, 2-24-22

Dear students, faculty and staff,

I am pleased to share that spring commencement will return to a traditional in-person format on campus this May. We are excited to bring members of the class of 2022 and their families and friends together with our faculty and staff to celebrate this tremendous milestone and recognize the many accomplishments of our graduates.

Our main commencement ceremony will take place on Boettcher Commons at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 27. This special event brings all spring graduates and their guests together as we confer degrees and university awards, and welcome graduates into our distinguished alumni community. Additional recognition events will take place Thursday, May 26, and Friday, May 27, and graduates will receive formal invitations to individual convocations hosted by their programs.

We ask that all guests be vaccinated at the time of commencement activities. Ceremonies will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions and public health guidelines, and share any updates to our commencement plans or campus protocols in as timely a manner as possible.
