Vote today, 11-6-2018

Dear faculty, staff and students,

It's Election Day. Today, we have the opportunity to make key decisions about the future of our communities, our state and our nation.

I urge everyone in the CU Anschutz community to vote, if you haven't already and if you are eligible. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and you can find your polling location here. 

If you have not voted and do not have three hours of unscheduled work time during the hours the polls are open, the state allows for up to 2 hours leave to participate in an election. Please check with your supervisor for approval, or contact your school/college/unit’s HR representative.

To vote in person, you must provide acceptable identification. Read more about how to vote today on the state’s  Election Day FAQ website.

We at CU Anschutz are looked to for our leadership, in the health fields and often more generally. Voting offers each of us the opportunity to personally exercise that leadership.
