Abraham M. Nussbaum, MD is a physician and writer. At Denver Health, he is the Chief Education Officer and Designated Institutional Official. At the University of Colorado School of Medicine, he is a Professor of Psychiatry and an Assistant Dean of Graduate Medical Education. He has authored six books, most recently Progress Notes: One Year In The Future of Medicine, which follows seven medical students during their clinical training. His work has been published in America, Commonweal, Psych News, Plough, STAT, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and Times Higher Education.
