At the 10th annual Block Party, hundreds of students, faculty and staff stopped by the A Place To Connect booth to share what the CU Anschutz Medical Campus means to them.
This signature annual event served as the official launch of the campuswide connection initiative, and special A Place To messaging.
Members of the CU Anschutz community picked up A Place To Connect giveaways, and a photobooth was a popular stop!
It was a perfect snowy Colorado morning when Chancellor Don Elliman officially called First Snow.
Students, faculty and staff gathered in the research and education quads to celebrate the season with music, laughter and ample photo opps!
Hot chocolate, warm cider and CU Anschutz “First Snow” scarves were given away while supplies lasted, and were quite a hit!
CU Anschutz History Day: Beginnings was the inaugural history day event on campus. Students, employees and alumni gathered together for lunch and a special program looking back at our multiple origin stories and the early days of our health science programs.
Attendees heard from a panel of featured speakers, perused artifacts displayed by the Strauss Health Sciences Library, and took guided and self-guided walking tours of historical spots on campus.
