A Message from Chancellor Elliman
This morning, I shared with our students, faculty and staff this video message outlining
our commitment to taking action against racism and to working with our community to effect long-overdue change. Our country is divided, and the recent horrific killings of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd bring into sharp focus our history
as a nation marred by racism and inequities. Indeed, throughout this COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen a disproportionate toll taken on the health and lives of people of color across the nation. While we have not been ignorant of these realities, we
have not done enough.
Black lives matter. And at CU Anschutz, we are committed to listening, learning and working as hard as we can to ensure we are leading to solutions. We know we most certainly do not have all the answers, and
we have a lot of work ahead of us. Your insights are invaluable as we join together to tackle injustice and discrimination. My door is open, and it will always be open.

Required Daily Health Questionnaire & Entry Screening in Effect on Campus
Critical staff already on campus, and those who have been invited and approved to return, must adhere to mandatory safety protocols and daily screening processes in place at all times, without exception. Find full details on the return to campus webpage.
- You must wear a face covering or mask at all times, indoors and outdoors, and remain 6 feet from others at all times.
- You must complete the required CU: COVID-19 Return to Campus Skillsoft training in advance of coming to campus.
- You must complete a daily health questionnaire prior to arrival at a designated check-in location for screening. The new and improved questionnaire is accessible online at covidcheckpoint.cuanschutz.edu, or by scanning the QR code posted at check-in locations.
- You must wear your building access wristband, received at screening, throughout the day.
New Faculty and Staff Mental Health Clinic
CU Anschutz faculty and staff have an easily accessible, comprehensive and confidential new resource for mental health services. The Faculty and Staff Mental Health Clinic accepts most insurance plans, and you can schedule a virtual visit at 303-724-4987 or fsmh@ucdenver.edu . Additional offerings from the Department of Psychiatry are detailed on their COVID-19 website.
Summer Locker Clean-out
Summer locker clean-out is June 10-11. Students will be assigned a time, and will need to complete the required training and screening process detailed here. Enter through the designated check-in locations for screening at either the Strauss Health Sciences Library or the Fulginiti Pavilion
at your assigned time.

Campus Resources and Reminders
- Starting Monday, June 8, permit parking resumes on campus for all employees and students, including those not yet invited to return to campus. For students, the East Student Rock Lot will remain free through the month of June while previous refunds are completed. Contact the parking office by June 15 at CUParking@cuanschutz.edu, 303-724-2555 or on the parking website to reactive, change or cancel parking permits.
- University travel remains suspended. Only essential domestic business travel may be considered for an exception. See your supervisor or unit head with requests, which are subject to review by school/college deans or the vice chancellor for administrative areas.
