In recognition of this generous contribution, the CU Cancer Center, the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) and the Department of Radiology have come together to make this collaborative project possible, investing personnel and resources to further bolster this initiative.
This collaborative effort will focus on the development of a cancer imaging AI program that will benefit from interdisciplinary expertise and infrastructure support. Key priorities will include research advancements, faculty recruitment and the creation of resources to push the boundaries of radiological imaging and cancer detection.
The Rifkin and Bennis Fund for Cancer Imaging AI will pave the way for innovative breakthroughs in cancer, ensuring the CU Cancer Center remains at the forefront of medical research and patient care.
We are grateful to the Rifkin/Bennis Foundation for their incredible generosity and to Allison Krebs in the Office of Advancement for her work in securing this gift.
