The use of CU Anschutz Medical Campus information technology resources is governed by policies issued by the University of Colorado System, Office of Information Technology (OIT), Information Security and IT Compliance (ISIC) and state and federal laws. Those that use IT resources on campus are responsible for understanding the policies and implementing the required controls to stay compliant.

While the website above outlines IT policies, there are policies specific to your campus (CU Denver and CU Anschutz ) as well as policies implemented at the system level. It is good to have a clear understanding of each institution’s policies and procedures to ensure the compliance of your specific department.
