Rebecca Hartsough MS, BA

Rebecca loved science from childhood, majored in Biology at Oberlin College, then worked as a lab tech for 2 years at University of Michigan in Human Genetics. After getting her MS from Baylor College of Medicine, she started in sales at REI during the recession, while applying for many sales jobs in biotech. After 6 months at VWR on this campus, CU Boulder and NJH, she started at Promega corp and stayed for 11 years, covering the mountain west, and focusing on reference labs.  She then made the jump to CROs, selling services for IVD and medical devices. As of October 2023, she’s now at PPD, selling the immunology assays needed for vaccine clinical trials to all major vaccine companies in the US and APAC.
