Maria Navas-Moreno PhD

Maria graduated with a PhD in Physics from the University of Utah. She completed two post-doctoral fellowships, one at the University of Utah focused on neuronal circuits and the other at UC Davis, where she worked in the Center of Biophotonics. She discovered that she is an entrepreneur, as well as a scientist, and is the co-founder of Lever Photonics, which is a team of physicists and engineers specialized in microscopy and Raman spectroscopy with the goal of helping their clients with their custom microscopy needs. Maria is now the CEO and co-founder of illumifyDx, a Colorado-based liquid biopsy diagnostics company striving to be the leader in optical spectroscopy-based clinical diagnostics.
