Retreats and Conferences

Graduate Student Retreat

Every autumn, all of the students in the Graduate Program in Microbiology are invited to take part in the Microbiology student retreat. The retreat is held at a mountain location within driving distance, attendees are able to present either a poster or a small seminar if they wish, and awards are presented to best presentations. The retreat is a time not only to share scientific ideas and practice presentation skills, but also to enjoy the company of fellow department members while hiking through colorful trails or enjoying a few hours in the local town.

22nd Annual Colorado Immunology and Microbiology Conference

The annual Colorado Immunology & Microbiology Conference brings together researchers along the rocky mountain front range for a two day conference focused on emerging topics in immunology and microbiology. The 22nd Colorado Immunology & Microbiology Conference will be held in Steamboat Springs, CO from August 30 - September 1, 2023.
