CU Anschutz is evolving its approach to campus and community engagement. As part of this evolution, the current engagement model will transition at the end of January 2026 while the campus prepares to launch a more coordinated, scalable engagement framework in early 2026.

Both CU Anschutz and the Resident Leadership Council (RLC) have grown and evolved. This moment allows the campus to modernize its engagement infrastructure so it can better coordinate community-connected work, align with the academic, public health and clinical missions, and expand impact locally, regionally, and statewide.

Engagement 3.0 is a new campus-wide framework designed to better coordinate, support, and amplify community engagement efforts. It emphasizes alignment, visibility, and impact across local, regional, and statewide initiatives.

Employees directly involved in engagement work have been informed about the planning process. Any future role changes will follow established campus processes and timelines. Specific details will be shared internally when appropriate.

The new engagement framework advances CU Anschutz’s commitment to belonging, partnership, and public impact. It strengthens alignment across academic, clinical, and community missions while positioning the campus for long-term impact.

Planning has included campus leadership, the community engagement team, and consultation with campus partners to ensure a thoughtful, phased approach.
