HEAL TRAININGS AND WORKSHOPS

Our office houses the Health Equity in Action Lab (HEAL).  HEAL fosters action and leadership for health equity through training, consultation, and deliberate practice. In 2022 they launched a Foundations in Equity Certificate Program that is open to all CU System employees and students. They are building community capacity through a train-the-trainer program—faculty and staff are trained as HEALers who can facilitate DEI-related content (applications are currently open!) In addition, HEAL offers an array of trainings on DEI and health equity topics, workshops, retreat facilitation, and consultations by request. They collaborate with an interprofessional work group on the Inclusive Syllabus Project. Our office believes HEAL is essential to improving the sense of belonging among all of our community members.

Request a Training, Consultation or SpeakerWe ask that you make your request at least two months in advance of your desired training date.  All requests will be evaluated and appropriately responded to based on staff availability.
