About the Finance Office
The Finance Office is responsible for all
University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus accounting and financial functions which
include but are not limited to:
- Compliance with implementation and monitoring of accounting standards for a complex organization.
- Preparation of financial statements for two campuses along with variance analysis and projections.
- Distribution of financial information to various units along with resolving accounting and revenue variances.
- Maintenance of financial systems.
- Accounting for capital construction.
- Oversight and approval of service center costing.
- Reconciliations between the general ledger and related subsystems.
- Reconciliation and coordination of accounting interface with the State's accounting system.
- Accounting and policy support to various campus departments.
- Interpretation and compliance of accounting standards, state, federal, and university fiscal rules.

a way to anonymously report concerns involving fiscal misconduct by
university employees, violations of state or federal law, serious or
recurring violations of university policy, or gross waste of university
funds or property. The CU EthicsLine is accessible via a toll-free phone number (1-800-677-5590) or a Web-based reporting system. This
service is provided by EthicsPoint, an independent company that
provides similar services for hundreds of companies and universities. The service provides a communication option available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
