OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY
One of the main goals of the Postdoctoral Association (PDA) is to engage postdoctoral fellows with the community surrounding CU Denver and CU Anschutz.
Science Communication
We also support scientists who are interested in science communication through publication of the PhD Post, a campus newsletter written by postdocs, graduate students, and research assistants.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Postdoc Association (PDA) is passionate about science outreach and advocacy. We currently collaborate with a number of volunteer groups on campus and in the community, including:

- The Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)
- Academia Industry Alliance (AIA)
Our Community Outreach Committee organizes our involvement with these groups and others. If you would like to become involved with the committee or have a volunteer opportunity you think we should promote then contact the committee chair, Nicole Nuckolls, or the PDA.
