The cultivation of human values, the celebration of human imagination, and the creation of healthy communities through excellence in humanities education and scholarship and arts production and presentation. 

This generous endowment by Drs. Henry N. and Janet S. Claman, provides annual support for a visiting professor in the field of medical humanities and arts, bringing new perspectives and voices to our campus.
