Specifics:
Poster presentations will be September 23, 2023.
The conference will be in the new Health Sciences Building on the Anschutz Medical Campus. The Lightning Round is scheduled from 1:45 PM - 3:45 PM. Select "Lightning Round" on your submission to be considered for the Lightning Round. The poster session with cocktails and heavy hors d' oeuvres is scheduled from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. No power, tables, or chairs will be available at poster displays. Posters should be no taller or wider than 4 ft by 4 ft. Posters
will be presented on 8-ft wide by 4-ft high poster boards (two posters per board). COAHEC will provide clips and T-pins. All presenters are required to prepare their handout materials for visitors. All presenters must attend the
conference and present in person All presenters must be at their poster boards for the duration of the poster session.
Audience:
You can expect a variety of attendees, including healthcare professionals throughout Colorado, residents, graduate health professions students, research professionals, and AHEC scholars.
Eligibility:
Practicing medical professionals, researchers, residents, health professions students, AHEC scholars, and Undergraduates are all eligible to submit posters.
Length of Presentation:
The lightning round presentations are 5 minutes, followed by a 2-minute Q & A.
The poster session is 2 hours.
Submission:
You must submit your abstract online through the web form below. COAHEC will not accept emailed submissions. There is no fee to submit an abstract. Limit your abstract to five hundred words. Abstracts must include a title, authors, and institutional affiliation. If you are interested in presenting at the lightning round, you must select Lightning Round consideration on your submission. The COAHEC NEAR Conference panel will review each submission
