Dental Medicine Reserach

The CU School of Dental Medicine is ranked among the top 10 U.S. dental schools that receive funding from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). Research is vital to the school's mission, elevating the institution's reputation and ability to further evidence-based clinical care. Our nationally ranked and nationally funded research programs focus on Cancer Biology, 3D modeling, and Cranial Developmental Biology. The school's collaborative research programs are at the forefront of science and attract significant funding.

Onsite Clinical Simulation

The goal of the Simulation Center and Clinical Education Center (CEC) within the University of Colorado College of Nursing is to create significant learning experiences for students to complement direct patient care. Using the Simulation Learning System (SLS), students can access clinical simulation scenarios accompanied by a complete Electronic Health Record (EHR). They can learn and make mistakes without harm to patients.

At the Colorado School of Public Health, we conduct qualitative and quantitative research to help prevent disease, promote health, and improve the well-being of communities. We translate our research findings into evidence-based public health practice. Through our academic and research units’ work and by offering fellowships, internships, and other practice-based learning opportunities, our faculty and students provide needed services to local, national, and international communities.
