Brian Jackson is a pediatric intensivist and co-chair of the ethics committee at Children’s Hospital Colorado.  He joined the ethics committee in 2010 and has been a member of the ethics consult team during that time.  He is co-chair of the pediatrics panel and an expedited review chair for the Colorado Multiple Institutional Review Board.  He is a facilitator in the interprofessional education program and serves on the steering committee for the values and ethics thread of that curriculum.  His research in the ICU centers around methods of communication with families of pediatric patients with critical illnesses.  He is also involved in ethics education for pediatric residents and fellows.
