Fiscal Policies & Procurement Compliance Certification

Registration for an upcoming cohort of the Fiscal Policies and Procurement Compliance training series is completed within Percipio. Cohorts are open to all CU Denver & CU Anschutz employees. 

Courses are required to be completed in order, when registering, you must be able to attend all sessions for that specific Cohort.

To Register, follow the Registration Guide or steps outlined below:

1. Login to your UCD Portal
2. "Training" Tile
3. "Percipio" Tile
   
4. On Percipio Home Screen select "Programs" > "Discover all Programs"
5. "Discover More"
6. Search for "Fiscal Policies and Procurement Compliance Certification"
7. Enroll in Learning Program using the "+Enroll" Button
8. Once enrolled in the Learning Program you must also register for each of the Live Courses within the Cohort. Select "Show Details" and enter into each of the five courses to register for the Cohort sessions.
   1. CU Fiscal Policies Overview
   2. CU Navigating Sensitive Expenses
   3. CU Leveraging CU Marketplace for Successful Purchasing
   4. CU Procurement Card and Travel Fundamentals
   5. CU Expense Reports: Creation and Approval

Reminder - As attendee space is limited, If you do not register for all five sessions under the cohort, you will be removed to allow other learners to enroll who are able to complete the full series.

Not at this time. Due to current limitations within Percipio, courses must be taken as part of one cohort instance. In the future, courses will be offered outside of the cohort structure. Announcements will be made when that change occurs.

Not at this time. Due to the interactive nature of these sessions and feedback from training development, these courses will only be offered in-person.

Fiscal Compliance understands an online option for fully remote employees that live beyond the Denver Metro area would be helpful. Discussions on how to best meet this need are ongoing.

Three Spring 2025 Cohorts will be offered with up to 40 attendees each. We anticipate that these Cohorts will fill up quickly. We are in the planning stages for three Fall 2025 sessions as well. Future training dates will be announced on this website, within newsletters and sent directly to specific campus listservs.

These courses are currently open to all CU Denver and CU Anschutz employees. Spring 2025 sessions will be held on the Anschutz Medical Campus. 

No - since the courses are part of a specific certification and include several group exercises and activities, we will not be recording the trainings. 

No, lunch will not be provided during these sessions, however there will be a scheduled hour long lunch break between courses to allow individuals time to eat lunch that they bring or go out for lunch. 

Maybe - If an individual who is registered to attend the cohort can no longer attend and withdraws from the session, the individual who is next in line on the waitlist would receive their slot. Depending on how many individuals withdraw and your position on the waitlist it is possible that a space will open up, but not guaranteed. 

Once you have enrolled in the Learning Program, successfully completed all five courses under the certification, and the instructor has finalized entering attendance within Percipio you will be able to download the certificate of completion for this series. To locate this:

1. Login to Percipio

2. On main screen, under 'Programs', select 'Discover all Programs'

3. Select 'Completed'

4. The Fiscal Policies and Procurement Compliance Certification program should then reflect a green check mark and show an option to 'Download Certificate'
