Getting Online at CU Anschutz
Wifi
While on campus, you will see two wireless networks you can connect to:
- CU Anschutz
- CU Anschutz Guest
CU Anschutz Guest is a lower-security network that does not require credentials to log into. CU Anschutz is a higher-security network that only students, faculty, and staff have access to. To connect, select the CU Anschutz network and, when prompted, enter your university credentials (the same ones you use to log into Canvas and UCD Access).
If you have difficulty accessing the system after you have claimed your university account, you can find some simple troubleshooting instructions here. If you are still unable to connect, contact the OIT Helpdesk at 303-724-4357 or email oit-servicedesk@ucdenver.edu.
Microsoft Office 365 & Webmail
CU Anschutz uses Office 365 for email and all Office applications. To access your email on the web, see OIT's page on email and webmail. Once logged into Outlook Webmail, you can also access browser-based versions of all common Microsoft Office tools, like Word and Excel, by clicking the 'waffle' icon at the top left.
Canvas
Canvas is the online Learning Management System at CU Anschutz. Students, faculty, and staff can use their university credentials to log in. For help – email cuonlinehelp@ucdenver.edu or call 24/7 for assistance 303-315-3700.
