On-Campus Recreation

The Office of Student Engagement offers certain intramurals on campus as one day tournaments or weekly leagues through the academic year.  If you are interested please email nicole.tabugadir@cuanschutz.edu.

How to Play:

Step 1: Create an account on IMLeagues, for your login use your CU Anschutz email. Log in after receiving confirmation email.

Step 2: Log into your IMLeagues account and join a sport one of three ways"

1. Create a team (for team captains). Click on the "University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus" link to go to our homepage on IMLeagues. The current sports will be displayed by registration deadline. Click on the sport you wish to join. 
   1. Adding people to your team
      1. Captains can invite members to their team by clicking the "Team Options" link on the team page and from the drop down menu select "Add Players". Any invited members must accept the invitation to be joined to your team. 
      2. If they've already registered on IMLeagues, search for their name and invite them.
      3. If they haven't yet registered on IMLeagues, input their email address. this will prompt them to create an account and then they can accept the invite request. 
2. Join a Team
   1. Find the team and captain name on the division/league page and request to join
   2. Accept a request from the captain to join the team
   3. Go to the captain's player card page, view the tam, and request to join.
3. Join as a Free Agent 
   1. If you would like to participate in ANY intramural activity, but have not yet found a team or partner, you can become a "Free Agent". 
   2. You can list yourself as a Free Agent is as many divisions within a league as you'd like. You will be visible to all members of the site and can request to join teams, or post information about yourself so teams can request to add you to their team.

Step 5: Complete the waiver and read the sport rulebook.

Step 6: You're ready to play!

Close Enough to be On Campus is General's Park (actually part of Aurora Park and Recreation). General's Park is located on the northeast corner of Colfax and Peoria.

Students can reserve shelters / picnic areas in the Park for class get togethers/BBQs and other events for a fee. Start the reservation process by going to the City of Aurora website.​
