Bio: Debbie joined the University in March 2018, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the heavy industrial construction industry. In her previous roles, she led internal professional development initiatives, employee coaching, curriculum design, and course facilitation.
Debbie is an alumna of the University of Colorado Denver, where she earned her undergraduate degree in business and an MBA with an emphasis in HR and organizational learning. She furthered her education with a master’s degree in organizational development and curriculum design from CSU-Global.
With over 20 years of experience, Debbie has a proven track record in developing high-performing teams, designing and launching talent development initiatives, and delivering high-impact learning solutions. Her passion for learning and dedication to helping others grow both personally and professionally are evident in all her endeavors.

Bio: Prior to joining the University, Allen worked in various senior leadership roles for middle market B2B & B2C service providers that specialize in consumer and small business financial services. Throughout his career, he has created and overseen the implementation of corporate improvement strategies, including business process analysis, strategic planning implementation & tracking frameworks, KPI/OKR development and reporting, workforce planning, training and development systems integrations, and the rollout of enterprise-wide project management. Allen has a BA in Psychology from Rockhurst University, an MBA from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and an MS in Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Texas - Dallas.

Bio: Passionate about personal growth and exploration, Tamara joined the Learning and Development team in August 2024. As a former stay-at-home mom, tutor, and social worker, she brings a unique perspective to learning with her compassionate approach and deep understanding of diverse needs and populations. She holds a BS in Family & Consumer Resources from the University of Arizona and a Graduate Certificate in HR Management from CSU-Global, which paved the way for her transition into the HR field. Outside of her professional life, Tamara enjoys exploring her creative interests, including music and art, which add a vibrant and imaginative dimension to her contributions as Learning and Development Coordinator.

Bio: Brian pursued a graduate degree and career change into learning design and development after years in hospitality. He attended the University of Colorado Denver where he received a BA in English writing and literature and a MA in information and learning technologies. He has a broad range of design experience which includes digital content design, writing, editing, eLearning, and 3D modeling/animation. He enjoys supporting educators and content creators with their design ideas and development projects. Brian is a lifelong learner whose interests lie in technology as it relates to content creation, education, social media, gaming, Web3, and the metaverse.
