PeopleSoft Time and Labor Project

The Time & Labor Project is a cross-campus initiative aimed at replacing our patchwork of legacy systems, including the MyLeave system and other manual timekeeping processes, with PeopleSoft Time & Labor.

Why is MyLeave being replaced?

  • Compatibility Issues: MyLeave does not integrate well with other software.
  • Department Challenges: It is impractical for many departments to use.
  • Outdated Features: The system is hard to update and lacks modern functionalities.

The project goals are to:

  • Consolidate Timekeeping Functions: Streamline all timekeeping processes into one system.
  • Enhance Accuracy, Compliance, and Efficiency: Improve the precision and reliability of timekeeping efforts.
  • Create a Scalable Future Proof System: Ensure the system can grow and adapt to future needs.
  • Improve User Experience: Develop a user-friendly interface to enhance usability.
  • Timeline
  • Current Phase: The project has just finished the planning/initiation phase and is now in the design phase, which will continue until June 2025.
  • Tentative Go-Live Date: Expected in July/August 2026.
