The Time & Labor Project is a university-wide initiative to improve timekeeping processes. Its goals include:
The project is supported by each campus' leadership team, with the project management organized under the System Office. Each campus has its own project team to manage campus operations.
The project team has finished Phase 1 - Current State Analysis. The results suggest that exploring the PeopleSoft Time & Labor Application (T&L) as a replacement for MyLeave seems promising, as the application has standard integrations with key 3rd Party Systems currently in use and completely integrates with our HCM system. During this phase, the team thoroughly reviewed CU Anschutz's timekeeping and leave-tracking processes. CU Anschutz was discovered to rely on a significant number of 3rd Party Systems. As a result, one of Anschutz's leadership goals is to minimize the number of 3rd party systems to only those with unique business needs and cannot be substituted with T&L.
The project is currently focused on defining the scope, timelines, and resources required for a successful implementation. Once this is complete, the planning and design phase will commence this fall.
We will keep you informed of key decisions as they are made and will provide further information later this year. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
