Dr. Martinez is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for the Office of Educational Outreach and Pathway Initiatives and Undocumented Student Services at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Before becoming the Senior Director, Dominic served as the Director, Assistant Director, and Associate Director of the Office which he has now been with for over ten years. Prior to his arrival at CU, Dominic worked at the University of Wyoming as the Assistant Director of Admission and coordinator of Minority Student Recruitment for over four years. Dominic graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Multicultural History and Student Movements. Dominic received his Master of Arts degree in Religious Studies with an emphasis in diversity and cultural/religious identities from the Department of Religious Studies at CU Boulder and his Doctorate of Education degree in Leadership for Educational Equity from CU Denver School of Education and Human Development. Dominic and his wife, Amber Martinez are proud parents of three beautiful children.

James is the Director of the Office of Educational Outreach and Pathway Initiatives at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Before he arrived at CU, James worked at CU Denver in the Policy Office and the Center for Identity & Inclusion. James graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology with an Emphasis in Social Issues. James is a diversity, equity, and inclusion practitioner with over ten years of experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and higher education policy experience. He works to conceptualize and implement initiatives, programs, and frameworks.

Dr. Jessica Luna Garcia is a fierce first-generation student, educator, advocate, researcher, and equity expert. She currently serves as the Director of K-12 Programming | CU Pre-Health Scholars Program (CUPS) High School Track, and prior to joining CUPS, Jessica served as the Senior Program Coordinator for TRIO McNair Scholars. Jessica has an innate passion for embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into complex systems that serve to reduce barriers and disparities in outcomes for underserved populations. Jessica has over thirteen years of experience in higher education professional consulting and coaching students from pre-college to Ph.D. and is a proud product of TRIO programs. Jessica received her Associate in Science from the Community College of Denver, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado Denver, a Master of Arts in Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education from Mid-American Christian University, and a Doctorate of Education in Leadership: Educational Equity in Higher Education from the University of Colorado Denver. Jessica is best known for being a positive energizer and for her ability to analyze and reframe systems through an equity lens.

Sothary is the Manger of K-12 Programming | CU Pre-Health Scholars Program (CUPS) Middle School Track for the Office for Educational Outreach and Pathway Initiatives at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Prior to her arrival at CU, Sothary worked at CU Denver in the Department of Ethnic Studies. Sothary graduated from Humphreys University of Stockton, California, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from National University. Sothary is a first-generation Cambodian-American and college graduate. She values diversity, inclusion, and community.

Alisya Rodriguez is a Colorado native who has devoted over 20 years as an advocate for the Latinx community. She has a passion for working to remove barriers, help gain access to higher education, and contribute towards the progress of the Latinx community. Alisya received her Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from the University of Colorado, Denver and is currently furthering her education as an MBA graduate student at Longwood University. She continues to advance her cultural competence as a member of the ArtistiCO Dance Company and actively participates in her community.
