Ahmed Alasmar is a Professional Research Assistant at the Center
for Bioethics and Humanities. He received his bachelor’s degree in
biology from the University of Kansas in 2017, and joined the center in
August 2019. As the research arm of the center grows, his role is to
support all research activities from grant writing to project
implementation and more. Some of his interests are healthcare
disparities, mental health, ethics, and policy.
