Marisa joined the Center for Bioethics and Humanities in April, 2023 as a Professional Research Assistant. Previously, she worked as a Student Research Assistant in the Anthropology Department at Colorado State University as well as the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences (IRISS) at CSU. During her undergraduate studies she participated in a variety of research projects surrounding community benefit.
She continues to do work in community engagement at the Center. She is pursuing to blend community benefit research with bioethics and public health. Marisa received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a focus on cultural and psychological anthropology from Colorado State University in 2022.
