Yun Hsiu Lu joined the Center for Bioethics and Humanities in February 2024.  She is working with
Lauren H. Nicholas, PhD, MPP, on research focusing on end-of-life decisions and comparing Medicare Advantage and traditional Medicare insurance plans. 

Yun Hsiu earned her MS in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis. 
She has a strong background in quantitative analysis and econometrics. Before joining the Center, she
worked extensively on crop insurance design, contributing insights into risk management and policy analysis.
