The third Claman Endowed Professorship in the Medical Humanities brought renowned pianist and psychiatrist Richard Kogan, MD on November 9, 2017, to present "Beethoven: Tragedy and Triumph," to a packed house of over 300 campus and community attendees. The program explored Beethoven's resilience in response to illness and his artistic transformation via storytelling and performance.
