Our Communications Team
Responsible for the university’s interaction with the print, broadcast and online media, as well as the creation of branded content and dissemination of university news and information, the Office of Communications team tells the story of our university to the world by working closely with the media and our faculty, staff and students.
Our team drafts news releases, media advisories and other materials to publicize news of faculty research, academic programs and newsworthy university happenings. We develop story angles, work with reporters, connect media with faculty and distribute information to local, national and international news organizations.
Additionally, the team provides public relations and communication support to the university community on a variety of communication issues.
