DVR is an employment program. We believe that anyone with a disability who wants to work, can work, regardless of the type or severity of their disability. We strive to work in partnership with the people we serve, our partners, employers and vendors to provide high quality services that lead to employment outcomes on a career pathway that result in self-sufficiency.
The ACLU of Colorado is the state’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. We’re a private institution funded exclusively by the generous donations of our supporters. Our mission is to protect, defend and extend the civil rights and civil liberties of all people in Colorado through litigation, education and advocacy.
Some students wish to seek further assessment to determine or support their diagnosis of a learning disability or ADD/ADHD. We have compiled a list of resources for reference.
Created by the Denver Office of Disability Rights, this is a guide to Denver area resources and services to kids, teens, adults and elders with disabilities.
The Colorado Civil Rights Division (CCRD) is charged with enforcement of the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA). CADA prohibits discrimination based on protected class in employment, housing, and places of public accommodation. The CCRD enforces CADA primarily through the investigation of complaints of discrimination, but also through mediation and education.
