We provide frequent opportunities for interprofessional mingling through social activities that include all students in all schools at CU Anschutz. See below for descriptions of our annual events. Welcome Wednesday
Get ready to kick off the new academic year with a huge BBQ, yard games, music, information about student groups on campus, and loads of free stuff! Typically the last Wednesday in August.
Skidaze
Ready for that powder in the high country? Student Senate brings you representatives from several mountains and resorts so that you can conveniently shop for discounted season ski lift passes and other options offered by resorts and businesses. Typically held the in late September.
Bagel Bar
Student Senate regularly offers the opportunity to munch and mingle with fellow students throughout the year.
Movie Night
Twice a year, Student Senate rents out an entire movie theater at Harkins Theaters and provides CU Anschutz students with half-price tickets! Watch a new release with 200 of your campus friends!
Group Painting Class
Student Senate organized a private event for CU Anschutz students at an art studio where you learn the basics of acrylic painting at a discount while enjoying the company of friends! This event is a 2-hour, instructor-led painting session with free food and your own beautiful creation to take home.
