The purpose of the NHLBI SIBS program is to introduce advanced undergraduate and early-stage graduate students to the field of biostatistics and the frontiers of data sciences.

Urban Underserved Track (CU-UNITE) is a longitudinal track for students at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine, College of Nursing Nurse Practitioner program, and the Physician Assistant (CHA/PA) program. CU-UNITE is designed for students interested in working with urban underserved communities. The track will provide the skills and support needed for future health care providers serving those urban populations.

Irving Harris Program in Child Development and Infant Mental Health
The Irving Harris Program in Child Development and Infant Mental Health provides clinical training, consultation, advocacy, and research in infant and early childhood mental health. Postdoctoral and community fellowships are offered to qualified professionals seeking advanced training in infant and early childhood mental health. Program faculty provide supervision, consultation, and training to academic programs and community agencies in Colorado as well as across the nation.
The MHA Pathway to Dentistry Program ("Pathway Program") provides academic and professional preparation and a pathway to the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine’s (SDM) Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program through the M.S. in Modern Human Anatomy.
PATH-GDS is a two-year program to introduce and train MS Statistics and MS Applied Mathematics students in genomics research. Our goal is to build an inclusive and representative community of genomic data scientists to foster retention in academia and industry.

The International Student Program offers qualified graduates of foreign dental programs the opportunity to earn the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the CU School of Dental Medicine. Graduates of this two-year accelerated DDS program may take any state or regional board, and thus are eligible for licensure and practice within the United States.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at CU Denver developed a certificate that provides a broad foundation in STEM (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and advanced health-oriented coursework that is essential for both graduate and professional programs and the needs of the health industry. Students who have already completed an undergraduate degree (it can be from any accredited school in the country) but need additional undergraduate pre-requisite courses to apply to health professions programs (including medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, lab technicians, health research jobs and more) can benefit from the CU Denver Post Baccalaureate Allied Health Sciences Certificate. CU Denver is well-known for preparing students for applications to health careers and acceptance to health professions programs. This certificate program offers high quality, rigorous preparatory classes and exceptional health careers advising including assistance with letters of evaluation, seminars on application processes, and assistance finding clinical, research, and community service experiences to enhance applications.
