Accept Your Financial Aid

Your final step.

Once you have applied for financial aid, all future communication about your application will come to you via your University Webmail account. You can also view detailed information about your application in UCDAccess:

• The To Do List will show you any forms that you need to submit and/or any actions that you need to take to complete your application. Only complete applications are reviewed for financial aid.
• The View Your Financial Aid link allows you to view your financial aid awards when they become available (an email will be sent to notify you).
• The Accept/Decline Awards link lets you view and accept, reduce or decline the awards you have been offered.
• Financial aid is disbursed (paid) into your university account no sooner than the week prior to the beginning of each semester*, with excess funds being refunded to you the first week of the semester.

*Exception: For students beginning their program the week of January 2nd, financial aid is applied to the university account during the week of January 2nd and excess funds will be available the following week. Plan your finances accordingly so you are covered until you receive your excess funds.

Your financial aid package is subject to change at any time, even after disbursement. Be sure to understand your cost of attendance​ and reasons why your award may be adjusted or reduced.

First time borrower? If this is the first time you are receiving student loans at CU Anschutz, you must complete the Loan Requirements. Your loan will not pay until this requirement is completed.
