The University is in progress of implementing a project management information system for use on all projects. The PMIS is used to store and share project information, collaborate, and track project progress among all stakeholders. Usage is required for all contractors without any additional fees or costs. Having all project stakeholders using the same system for design and construction improves the project delivery practices, standardize operating procedures, improves tracking and communication, and ensures the security and privacy of project information.
Contractors, project managers, design teams, and consultants use the system to exchange information as they collaborate on various activities throughout the project life cycle. At full implementation, some examples of activities done in Kahua are: project agreements, budget management, pay application submission and processing, requests for information, submittal review, design document review, utility outage, and document storage. A fill list of active applications are shown below.
Contractors, please follow up with your designated univerity project manager for specific Kahua usage requirements. Prospective contractors, contact the POC identified in the solicitation.
